TEAM ROPING

Team roping also known as heading and heeling is a rodeo event that features a steer (typically a Corriente) and two mounted riders. The first roper is referred to as the "header", the person who ropes the front of the steer, usually around the horns.and use his horse to turn the steer to the left. The second is the "heeler", who ropes the steer by its hind feet after the "header"

COWBOY OF THE DAY !! TREVOR  BRAZILE (Header) Trevor Brazile (born November 16, 1976) is an American rodeo champion who competes on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). He holds the record for the most National Finals Rodeo (NFR) total world champion titles won by a large margin of 23 titles. Brazile won the 23rd title in 2015. He accomplished breaking the record held by Ty Murray who has 9 titles for which Murray earned the final title in 1998. Brazile also holds the record for the most World All-Around Cowboy Champion tiles at 13 titles. He won the 13th title in 2015. In 2010, Brazile won his 8th all-around title, surpassing Murray's seven titles in 1998.[1] It is not to be discounted that Murray's titles were won in rough-stock events, and he is still the youngest winner of the title.      (VIDEO TREVOR BRAZILE)

Patrick Smith

Cowboy Heeler Patrick Smith Although he did not start roping until the age of 18, Patrick Smith rose quickly to the top of his profession. He joined the PRCA in 2003 and qualified for the NFR that year and won the NFR average with partner Matt Tyler. He was also awarded the 2003 PRCA Team Roping Heeling Rookie of the Year. Two years later, he won the 2005 Team Roping World Championship at the NFR with Clay Tryan. In 2007, Patrick began roping with partner and friend Trevor Brazile. Winning the NFR average in 2008, their partnership continued to thrive and brought them the 2010 Team Roping World Championship.
